What is the tumor?
What is cancer?

The term tumor is given to any abnormal lumps that arise in the body, whether visible surface or hidden in the body.
There are two classes of tumors, the tumors are benign and malignant tumors.
Benign tumors grow slowly and   membranous wrapper so easy to operate and removed.
Malignant tumors also called cancer, is growing rapidly, and the growth bersimpai not infiltrate into body tissue and can spread to other tissues via the blood vessels and lymph nodes.

What causes cancer?

Cancer caused by the change of instructions' of the division and growth of cells by GEN.
6-10% of patients already have the talent, but need a trigger factor as in some cases, a defect in the gene by various substances around us and are affected by certain lifestyle.

Factors that may increase the risk of cancer because of damage to these genes are:

a. Chemicals, such as those found in cigarettes and industrial materials.

b. Excessive sunlight.

c. Some specific viruses, such as HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), Epstein-Barr, Hepatitis B and C.

d. Giving excessive hormones.

e. Stimulation in the form of impact or friction on one part of the body repeatedly in a long time, causing wounds that do not heal, especially on moles.

f. Certain foods, such as foods preserved with marinated, contain dyes that are not safe, the excessive fat and less vegetables and fruits.

Who can get cancer?

- Cancer can happen to everyone and all age groups, but more often affects people aged over 40 years.

- In general, cancer is not inherited, but there are some types that can be passed down genetically.

- But keep in mind that cancer is transmitted from one person NOT TO OTHERS.

Cancer can affect any part of the body?

Cancer can grow in all parts of the body, therefore it is known to many types of cancer based on the affected organs, such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, stomach cancer and colon cancer, blood cancer etc. ,

Cancer was initially grown in one part of the body, and in its growth, cancer cells can spread wider to the other parts, and called the children scattered (metastasis)

Any signs or symptoms of cancer?

There are seven cancer symptoms to watch out for:

1. When the small bowel or no change in habits, the shape of a changing or the presence of blood.

2. Tool disturbed digestion and difficulty swallowing.

3. Hoarseness or a cough that will not heal.

4. Breast or elsewhere no unusual lumps.

5. Moles which are changed in character and become increasingly large, reddened and itchy.

7. The presence of ulceration or sores that do not heal.

How to prevent cancer?

Efforts to prevent cancer or reduce the risk of cancer can be done with a healthy lifestyle and avoiding unhealthy habits, among others:

1. Avoid high-fat foods, preserved foods.

2. Avoid changing sex partners.

3. Avoid smoking.

4. Avoid sunlight.

5. Check periodic health.

Whether the cancer can be cured?

Not all cancers have been detected can be cured, but the earlier the cancer is found and treated quickly and appropriately, the greater the likelihood for recovery.

Not all types of cancer can be detected early. The type of cancer that can be detected early include: Cancer of the cervix, breast cancer, skin cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer.

How cancer treatment?

Treatment of cancer is generally the same, with one or a combination of several ways, among others:

1. Surgery (Operations)

2. Radiation (Radiotherapy)

3. Drug sitostatika (Chemotherapy)

4. Increase endurance (immunotherapy)

5. Treatment with hormones.

CANCER FOUND ON MANY CHILDREN

Leukemia
Leukemia is a cancer of the blood, and has hope cured with proper medication and correct.
Symptoms to watch and often found in leukemia, among others: pale, unexplained fever, unexplained bleeding, bone pain and abdominal swelling.

Brain tumor
Brain tumors can interfere with the function and damage the central nervous system structure, because it is located within the cavity structures are limited (cranial cavity).

Retinoblastoma

lymphoma maligna
Maligna Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymph nodes. This cancer is usually characterized by enlargement and swelling of the lymph nodes rapidly without the pain. Enlarged lymph nodes may occur areas of the neck, armpits, groin and bowel without the pain.

neuroblastoma
Neuroblastoma is a type of nerve cancer that can show many symptoms depending on where it is.

Osteosarcoma

Rhabdomyosarcoma
Rhabdomyosarcoma is muscle cancer and can be found in the muscles anywhere, usually in the area of ​​children's head, neck, bladder, prostate and vagina.
